Members of the Dana Point Kayak Mafia do not normally reveal tactics and locations of really good fishing spots. Instead we encourage people to go to Doheny or La Jolla. Yawn . But since by coincidence it was mentioned here today anyway I will post just this once...
Here are some pictures from today, it was my wife and I's anniversary, so I had to go fishing of course...
da end of da trail
da guys you gotta get around when you launch
da view from da reef
da end of da day, between sets...
We had a blast, and it was a really pretty day to be on the water. _________________ quietman

Qman,
You are hilarious. Glad you had fun, Happy Anniversary.
So....did you happen to catch fresh dinner for the wife? |

John,
Thanks for your trip report. I always enjoy your informative posts. I'll assume from the lack of fishy faces in the photos that the bite was off. Hmmm ... or maybe since you revealed the location, you are just keeping the tactics and results a secret.
I'll also assume that your wife is of a more forgiving nature than mine if you remained a married man after spending an anniversary fishing, LOL.
TL,
Dave |

An elite death-squad of specially trained kayak ninjas may or may not exist, which is known as "The Electric Fish and Dive Kayak Mafia" the individuals may or may not be Yanni, Vye, AlanP, and quietman.
